Jane Boxall, young Surrey-born, Aberdeenshire-raised, upstate New York-domiciled marimba player drops off on a UK tour what looks like music written exclusively for the marimba, an instrument with roots older than you might think (ancient, in fact), although the items here are pretty much contemporary by composers from the UK, USA, Germany, New Zealand, France, Russia and Japan.
