THE Star, the National Apprenticeship Service and the Rotherham Work and Skills Board are embarking on a significant new initiative to increase the number of Apprenticeships in South Yorkshire and we would like to invite you to be part of it.
The ‘100 in 100’ Apprenticeship campaign is being launched today with the aim of 100 local companies committing to recruit or train 100 apprentices in 100 days.
Apprenticeships are available in all industry and business sectors and can provide training in nearly all job roles in any business. Apprentices can be any age and can be a new recruit in the organisation or a more experienced existing member of staff who would benefit from on the job training and gaining recognised qualifications to progress in the business.
The National Apprenticeship Service focusses solely on delivering more Apprenticeships and supporting businesses to continue investing in skills. “We understand that employers are very busy people who need to see results. That is why we work hard to make that happen” said Helen Gorner, Employer Services Director.
Find out HERE how your business could benefit and the support available to you and pledge your commitment in the next 100 days to recruit a new employee as an apprentice or to train your existing staff through an Apprenticeship programme.
